Diabetes ACT Cocktail Reception

The Diabetes ACT Cocktail Reception pays special tribute and thanks to those companies and individuals for their ongoing financial commitment to support the work of Diabetes ACT.

We would especially like to thank His Excellency Mr Alexios G Christopoulos the Ambassador of Greece & Mrs Matenia Christopoulou for opening their residence and being the distinguished hosts of this year’s Cocktail Reception.

The Reception's program included:

• Guardian Angel Awards being presented to Liangis Investments, Joe Giugni, A Touch of Elegance and Arthur Liang.
• A raffle with the prize kindly donated by Brumbies Rugby.
• Speech by Young Ambassador Natalia Michail.
• Kellion Victory Medal presented to Mr Kevin Boundy in recognition of living with diabetes for 50 years.

The 2010 fundraising initiatives launched at the Cocktail Reception included:

• The Honda Accord Euro Car Raffle
• The Guardian Angel Gala Ball featuring the Celebrity Singing Bee
• David Collison's quest on the Kokoda Track
• The Take 5 Team
