Appointments for Diabetes Education

Have you been diagnosed with diabetes recently? Perhaps you need some advice about lifestyle adjustment or information about how to manage your diabetes?

Diabetes ACT has both a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and an Accredited Practising Dietitian on staff. These professionals are available to provide you with information and advice about how to manage your diabetes.

A Credentialled Diabetes Educator can help you with expert advice on topics such as blood glucose monitoring, diabetes self-management education, staying well, trouble-shooting and much more.

There is no charge for appointments during business hours.

We now offer a specialist dietitian service for people with type 1 diabetes.

Appointments outside business hours

We recognise that it is often difficult to have all health-related appointments scheduled during business hours. In exceptional circumstances we can arrange an after-hours service.

Fees may apply to after-hours appointments. A Medicare rebate is available for people who have an Enhanced Primary Care referral from their General Practitioner. Please contact us for more information about this service.
